Cincinnati Barge & Rail Terminal
We believe maritime commerce is vital to our mid-western region’s economy. CORBA is a viable instrument that “gets the word out” not only to prospective world-wide customers but also to city and state leaders who understand the member companies provide well-paid employment opportunities as well as a tax base where they operate.

Inland Marine Service, Inc.
As a founding member of CORBA, I would like to congratulate and thank the other founding members and businesses that provided their valuable time and money to make this organization successful.
Rail, Road, and Runways have always had a voice in the Cincinnati Region; however, the fourth “R,” “Rivers”, has not!. The creation of CORBA gave our regional waterways a voice in a global marketplace. CORBA’s accomplishments have included the re-designation of the Cincinnati/NKY Regional Port from 26 miles to 227 miles, much needed advocacy for local maritime businesses, partnerships with OKI and local governmental groups, freight conferences and much, much more! We are all proud of these accomplishments and we look forward to many more!
Congratulations on your ten year anniversary CORBA!

Benchmark
Benchmark’s ownership has a strong sense of community and a strong commitment to support and promote the industries in which they operate. With no other local entity advocating for the maritime industry in the Greater Cincinnati region, it is essential that the maritime-dependent industry band together to create a voice and advocate for and on behalf of each other. CORBA has created that place and has been tireless in its efforts to create the needed visibility for our otherwise low-key industry. CORBA’s advocacy and industry promotion is highly valued.

ODOT
The Ohio DOT values the partnership, innovation and organizational leadership that CORBA provides for the Ohio River. CORBA was a key partner during the Ohio Conference on Freight and was used as the gold standard while forming two additional Ohio River Business Associations which now come together as one ORCO to advocate, educate and inform others of the value of Ohio River commerce. CORBA initiated the Ohio River Economic Impact Study, a first of its kind; and the OKI/CORBA CORIS is so successful, that efforts are underway to expand it to the entire Ohio River system.
